How Nolan got his start
Nolan Sotillo is an actor, singer/songwriter and musician from West Palm Beach, Florida. He is currently one of the stars of “Red Band Society” on FOX Network as Jordi, the new guy and the jock. His original music is featured in the premiere and in subsequent episodes. Nolan previously starred in the Walt Disney Pictures feature film “Prom”, and recorded the song “We Can Be Anything” for the soundtrack. Nolan has also starred in the Disney Channel series “Lucas and Corey For the Win”, the Disney Channel pilot “Madison High” and the pilot for MTV’s “Finding Carter”.
Nolan’s soulful voice and strong songwriting abilities kick started his road to success. During middle school, he participated in his school plays and his favorite role was that of Danny in “Grease”. This role solidified his love of entertaining through acting and singing. At 14 he competed in The American Idol Experience at Disney World in Orlando. Nolan won the Dream Ticket to Hollywood to compete on American Idol although he was too young to compete on the show.
Nolan is best known for his role as Jordi in the Fox show Red Band Society and for the Disney movie, Prom. He is also a talented singer/songwriter and musician known for original songs and covers of hits. His music has been featured in Red Band Society and is available on iTunes.
